Translating ideas into action; people to each other; problems into solutions; needs into plans.
Skills
Everything I do has to do with creativity, problem-solving, and engaging people (and animals).
Having been trained as a web developer, I understand tech processes and have the vernacular. Through my experience in project & product management, I am very comfortable with Agile and Scrum methodologies. As a linguist, I think systemically, recognize patterns, and learn new logic very quickly. My time as a researcher at a museum and an analyst for an intelligence company proves my ability to find and organize information quickly and efficiently. Having spent decades working in informal education and facilitation, I understand people and know how to motivate them. Positions in SMM have taught me to be up to date with current events and trends, as well as always keeping an eye on metrics.
Tech: MEAN stack with VS Code, basic Git & SQL, AI tools, Canva, Jira. I am excellent with interfaces and learn new software within hours.
